Sep 21, 2007 / Pool Tournament Success

The first ever Charlotte Skulls Pool Tournament was at great success. We had a strong showing of local alumni and hope to grow participation as we continue to have the event. Many alumni discussed holding the event once a month to create some continuity in the event. It was held at a really cool spot in the Southend area call Dillworth Billiards. Old style tables, great atmosphere! Brian Cook won the tournament that raised $200.00 for the Housing Corp!

Aug 12, 2007 / We're In!

After 6 long years of speculation, meetings, contracts, and construction the undergrad brothers have moved into their brand new house! It is wonderfully nested between two sororities in UNC-Charlotte's new Greek Village. I toured the house this past weekend, and it is amazing. Many thanks to every one from all Phi Kap generations that has helped make this possible.

May 6, 2007 / Donation Drive makes it's final push.

With just a few months left before the chapter moves into the brand new on-campus house, we the Housing Corp are making our final push on the Donation Drive before classes start this fall. All alumni should expect to receive a brochure in the mail and a phone call from our fund raising committee. Please do you part and help Build on the tradition that is Phi Kap and UNC Charlotte.

Apr 19, 2007 / House Almost Full!

The undergrad chapter just reported on their website that 27/28 rooms in the new house have been confirmed with brothers registered to live in the house. A few minor details still need to be worked out with the Greek Life Administration and Housing, but other than that we are looking like we might possibly fill the entire house.
